Euphoric. No other word can describe how I'm feeling! I had a marvelous lunch with my friend Tammy today - she's in Iceland for a week for a confirmation - and she was able to squeeze in some time for us to meet. I'm very happy! :)

Tammy and I have one of those friendships where it doesn't matter how long it was since we last saw one another or talked - we just pick up where we left off! And we can say anything about everything. Such friendships are rare and to be appreciated - I sure do! I'm lucky enough to have a few such, even though most of these friends live far far away.

So we met and talked for 2 1/2 hours and had she not been time constrained, I'm sure we could've gone on talking for another! :) What fun!

Einar left early this a.m. to go off on a gallivant to a glacier. I talked with him about a half hour ago and he was just as happy as me, if for somewhat different reasons. hehe He said the weather was so nice that they were taking the scenic route and he was seeing territory that he'd never seen before. :)

We had a mini fight over the little camera. I wanted it so I could take a picture of Tammy and me; he wanted it so he could video tape the trip. I very reluctantly said he could take it, but then he didn't. :) He took the big camera though, so he can get a few shots here and there. And I got my picture of Tammy and me. Yay!

I asked about the jeep. He said something had already broken so he was moving a bit slower and other jeeps were passing him. But he didn't care. And evidently it was something that could be easily fixed so he wasn't worrying about it. I could hear his smiles over the phone. :) And that makes me smile. :)

Before he left, he directed me to an online site that is tracking their route as they go. Really fun to watch! I want us to have a copy of this programme! It's fun to watch and is a really great safety feature!
