Yesterday we had snow. Today - I can see patches here and there, but the snow is essentially gone. Does this mean that Spring has finally arrived?!

I hope so, but as I look out my living room window, what do I see? A very dark mass of clouds hovering above. The question is - which form will whatever falls take: snow or rain? The temperature is hovering just above freezing, so it's a toss up.

I've been super industrious the past few days - I think today I will take it a bit easier for two reasons: my body can't decide if it is having a cold or not. I take my vitamin C and zinc and then the symptoms go away for a few hours. Weird. But I'll continue to take the vitamins and hope that it will nip whatever this is, in the bud. ;) The second reason is that my hip is complaining a bit more, all last night and this morning, which makes me less inclined to move around. :(

Yesterday I saw Lora briefly; it's been over two weeks since her last visit. This one was a whirlwind visit, just picking up something, but we managed a few words. :) And at approximately the same time, I was talking with Bjarni on Facebook chat, so I felt I connected a bit.

All of a sudden yesterday evening, the kitchen faucet became very stiff and squeaky. I've alerted Einar to the problem. Luckily, the new one is already waiting in the wings, so to speak. (Has been for several months when the current faucet persisted in leaking!) So maybe soon the new faucet will be put in place.

My computer has been acting strangely the last couple of days. I've had to restart it to make it work properly. I sincerely hope this is not a warning of things to come. Working in Linux was supposed to make it less likely that viruses, etc could screw up the works. I hope this is just my imagination. I haven't opened any mail from unknowns, so all I can do is cross my fingers and hope. I wonder if the fact that it is April 1st has anything to do with it...
