After over a week of dismal grey skies, rain and wind, today we finally have sunshine! What a relief! :)

I wonder how long it takes to go from the mainland in Ecuador to the Galapagos Island? At any rate, Bjarni said he and Ewelina would be incommunicado for just over a week. Should be a blast! :)

Brynja starts classes today. :) In fact, she said that she would be in class all day today. I hope the classes and professors and her classmates will be as stimulating and interesting as Brynja was hoping.

As for me, I'm sans crutch again. Yay! Gotta enjoy it while I can. ;)

Unfortunately, the jeep needs more attention before it gets the coveted year '10' sticker. Sigh.. Well, on the bright side, at least once fixed, it will be in good repair for awhile. Gotta look for that silver lining, right?

Agh! I experimented and ate shrimp with my salad for dinner. Tasted great. But now I'm paying for it. I guess I just can't eat fish anymore and the kind doesn't seem to matter.
