As planned, to the accompaniment of Christmas music, I spent the whole day wrapping. It took its toll; by late afternoon, I had to lay down and rest for an hour before I could do anything else. But now, I'm feeling refreshed. I've eaten a little, rested a bit. And a quiet evening looms ahead.

Just as we sat down to watch the news, we had a fun surprise phone call from Bjarni. :) No video, but the sound was very clear. He was telling us about his travel plans for over the next two weeks or so. They'll be in Peru if all goes as planned, crossing over into Bolivia just around New Year's. All was well and he was pleased with his new Skype earphones. :)

In just a few minutes, we will have a visitor - time to get out the cookie tray. :)
